This is a impossible task if you don’t have permission to access your location.<\/span><\/p>\n

This could only happen when you have given Snapchat permission to access your location.<\/span>\u00a0If you did not, My AI, like the app, would not have access.<\/span>\u00a0If you had, My AI would.<\/span>\u00a0It was that “lying” that took people off the rails making the robot appear insidious and evil.<\/span><\/p>\n

The other Redditor claimed\u00a0to have discovered My AI’s “pre-prompt,” which is the first set of instructions Snap gave to the bot to regulate the manner in which it responds to users.<\/span>\u00a0One of those guidelines is “Do not discuss the location of the user when it’s relevant to the conversation,” which may have accidentally led to My AI to “lie.” In all likelihood this issue appears to be resolved If I inquire of My AI if it has access to my current location, it informs me that it does.<\/span>\u00a0When I deactivate the location permissions, it informs me that it does not.<\/span><\/p>\n

How do I deactivate my AI in Snapchat<\/span><\/h2>\n
